Past Players Day – 2026

Past Players Day – 2026

Join us for a fantastic community night at Carnegie Cricket Club as we celebrate our Past & Present Players Day, a special fundraising social event for everyone connected to the club. This is a great opportunity for current and former players, families, supporters, and friends to come together, share stories, and support the future of the club.

The evening will feature a special appearance from former Hawthorn great Dermott Brereton, a 5-time premiership player, who will be our guest for the night. Guests can look forward to photos, chats, and plenty of footy and cricket stories as Dermott helps us make the night one to remember. The event will be held on Saturday 14th February, with a 7pm start, and the $40 entry fee includes dinner, making it an easy night out for players and families alike.

All funds raised on the night will go directly back into supporting Carnegie Cricket Club, helping us invest in equipment, facilities, and programs for players of all ages. Drinks will be available at bar prices, and everyone is welcome—past players, current players, juniors, parents, partners, and community members. Mark the date in your calendar, bring your teammates, and spend Valentine’s Day with Dermott and the Carnegie Cricket Club community at this unmissable fundraising event.
